The Brief

We were approached by the owner of Bikes, Trikes n Stuff with a request to update their existing website to something where they could display the type of items that they kept in stock at the retail unit, and also to be able to show the services that they offered. In addition the company wanted to be able to have more freedom to update this information themselves.

The client had quite specific design preferences in terms of logo, colours scheme and overall feel of the website.

We were also made aware that there were some obstacles to taking on this job in that the login details for the existing site, and it’s hosting had been lost.

The Proposal

The first part of the proposal was a way of re-establishing access to the current website and hosting for the client so that they could continue to use their existing website whilst the new one was created.

The second part meant a complete redevelopment of their website as the static html that they currently had would not live up to their requirements. We therefore proposed a content management system and also offered to create listings for their current catalogue which was around 1,000 products.

The Result

The final design incorprated all of the clients design requests and also gave them what they were looking for.

The Proposal

We constructed a very simple website proposal for Debbie that contained a total of 5 pages that would fulfil her needs.

For her resumé we provided a simple download link.

For her show reels we provided video via a link. This meant that it would open in an appropriate player, rather than stream via the website.

For her pictures we installed a very simple scrolling gallery.

The pages where tied together with a very simple yet feminine overall theme and images of Debbie herself.

We then installed a contact form with basic information collection fields which was directed at Debbie’s choice of email address.

The Result

The consultation, site design and installation took less than a week and Debbie was thrilled with the result.

The Brief

Anthony came to us after he had set up a Hypnotherapy business. It was doing Ok by word-of-mouth but he wanted to grow his business by promoting his services online.

In addition, Anthony also wanted the ability to sell a small amount of items online and write a blog.

The Proposal

Through our initial consultation and ongoing conversation with Anthony we felt that our standard set-up wasn’t suitable for him so we suggested a specific package that utilised the WordPress blogging system and a flexible template that we felt fell into line with the feel of his business and the operational needs of the website.

The WordPress blogging software gave Anthony the option to be in complete control of his website by being able to add and remove pages and content at a point that suited his business.

The Result

After some minor adjustments to the proposal, which came about as a result of Anthony’s feedback, we installed the WordPress system and created all of the relevant pages for him into which we then inserted Anthony’s chosen copy and images.

After completing the website we gave Anthony guidance on how to operate the Content Management System so that he could go on and fulfil his goals.
